Annie Get Your Gun is oft quoted in my family. The song we like best is, "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better." In it, Frank Butler and Annie try to one up each other.
The best lyrics are:
Frank: I can jump a hurdle.

This is the first song I ever performed on stage. My mother orchestrated a Ward Roadshow, starting the Greenans (talented and not). Each one of us sang a verse, paired off with the kid younger. Celia and Paige, then Paige and Nate, then Nate and Ellie and finally Ellie and me. Being youngest at the time, I had stage fright and burst into tears.
We are a competitive family, but I wonder if the competition started right then, on stage in San Rafael. I was two.
I may not have had a great debut on stage, but I CAN bake a pie.
I can bake a delicious peach pie and I can make Nor's Peaches Jam with Pam.
Here is my peach pie and my peach jam and my pink shirt that makes me look fatter than I really am (boo).
Anything you can do, I can do better.

Those are both beautiful...and with you sweet little headband, your canned peaches and your pie, you should be able to catch a nice returned missionary right away!
That pie looks amazing. I might have to forego my diet of raspberries and oreos to have a piece. Does it ship well? Look, you size 6, the day that you look fat, I'll enjoy cleaning, i.e. NEVER!
ps- if you're smaller than a size 6, please don't be offended. I've always wanted to be one. :o)
How do you know how to bake a pie but you don't use the "crotch pot"? Pie baking is way harder. Way.
I have never tried to bake a pie or a cake even. Never got past cookies. Mom chased me out of the kitchen when she was making her liquor filled heathen cakes. (Rum cake) So I don't know!
Its not against the word of wisdom if you don't DRINK the alcohol. Therefore, rum cake, tiramisu, anything wine infused, all a-okay.
Is that freezer jam or actual boiled jam? Either way I am impressed. Is that at Paige's house? Did she turn domestic also? And you definitely aren't fat. You should always wear that aqua shirt you were wearing last night. Dax thinks so too.
That pie was GOOD. And the shirt was actually cute on you, just the boobs get in the way in the pics.
do you have a letter-grading system for fruit pies like you do fruit salad? is peach an "a" fruit??
