Sacrificial Superficial

Today I am in love with New store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. I want everything, but alas, none of the dresses are sufficiently modest.
If I had a day off from modest clothing this is what I would wear:

With this necklace:
And these shoes:

Some people lay their lives on the altar of the temple and consecrate their thoughts, deeds and action as part of their testimony.

I sacrifice fashion.

What do you sacrifice because of your testimony?

(and yes, I know I can still wear the shoes and necklace. But it's just not the same and P.S., they are overpriced.)

I've decided to invest in some modest bathing suits. Please visit http://www.wholesomewear.com/ to help me pick one out.

That dress would look adorable with a little tee top underneath.

I have sacrificed boozing and toking for my testimony. I have never done either but I am certain I would like both. Unless they made me throw up, which is entirely possible.

Once I did throw up when my alkie friend was barfing up the night's libations. It wasn't fair.

Make Dax get you the necklace because he is gone so much. You deserve it. The shoes are pretty cute too.

Just think! You can dress Mimi as immodestly as you want! It will drive Fifi and Cici nuts. Claire wants to know why you have a tat and how you could possibly get married in the temple with one.

I told her that I guess they forgot to do the whole naked body scan when they interviewed you for your rec.

If Ellie, Paige, and one other person comments, that would make ten. It would be your new world record and then you could come to blogapalooza.

You are almost to 10 comments now. I am with you on the fashion sacrifice!!!!!!! Oh well. I guess we can make ourselves feel better with the fact that we would probably just spend more money--right?

Oh, I love that store too. You can buy any of the shoes, and leggin's under the dresses with sleeves! I sacrificed my successful career b/c the prophet told me to. HA HA HA
