Waffle is my friend. He's a one year old Dauschund mix that I got when I was pregnant. I needed something to cuddle, my baby wasn't here yet. I had only two pregnancy cravings: waffles and puppies (not to eat.)
Without a yard, it's hard to have a dog. You can't just lock him out. Waffle has needs.
Sometimes I try to take him to my parent's house, but they do not love him and Ellie hates him because he whines if he's left outside. He's high maintenance, but affectionate and attractive. He has a lot of energy, but he thinks he is a human and therefore should not be left outside to play.
Here are some good things about Waffle:
1) He sleeps for 10 hours.
2) Poops in the ivy where I don't have to pick it up.
3) Makes me go on walks.
4) Always happy to see me.
5) Doesn't smell, doesn't shed.
My family tries to tolerate Waffle, but their hatred is thinly veiled. It makes me feel bad.
Can't they see that the only thing cuter than babies are puppies with babies?

Your dog is okay. He doesn't attack children and he is little. I'm glad you still love him and Mimi will always be grateful for a pet. Do you realize that 4 out of 8 so far offspring of Pim and Jam have had a dog? I wonder if Phil will get one.
Your comments last night on my posts were quite amusing. Too bad they were last so others couldn't enjoy them. It will be easy to out comment this comment so Ellie and Paige should go for it. Maybe you'll get lucky and Camille or Val will comment. I win the prize for longest. Cute pix of Mimi and cousins. We are jealous that Mimi is cuddly. The grass is always greener.
I have a dog too- all my friends thinly veil their hatred as well... oh well. It's a dog. Luckily I finished the other boleyn girl like a month ago and just haven't stated anything new so you didn't ruin the end for me... well I guess I knew the ending anyway since it is all history but- you know what i mean! :)
That is an adorable giant baby.
