My nephew Griffin is 2 1/2 and he is in love with firetrucks, worships firemen and intends to be a fireman when he grows up.
Today, Griffin's fondest dream was realized.
Dad invited everybody to come be in the public service announcement for the upcoming emergency preparedness fair for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Only a few people showed up so we all got to be stars.
But for Griffin, it was all about the firetruck.
At first, he was just overwhelmed. He just couldn't believe he actually got to approach the truck and meet the firemen. He's frowning with intensity in every picture, but it was probably the most exciting day of his life.
Griffin also got to shoot the fire hose. You'll have to wait for the commercial to see him in action.
There was a lot of cuteness while we waited around in 93 degree weather.

I agree with the cuteness. You all deserve to be superstars! I was wondering if your year's supply will be featured in the commercial. You know, the one under your bed.
cute cute cute! i love the look on his face. wow, i'm actually on the firetruck, i can touch all these cool gadgets:)
Um, you copied me. But I got the hose picture. At least I look cute in your blog. I can't figure out why all the pictures of me lately make me look so fat! It's a mystery.
Thanks for documenting. Griffin is a serious worker guy. We had to look at the pix again tonight. I feed his obsession. It could be worse; What if he wanted to be a LAWYER or something! No cool trucks or sirens. And the action figures would stink.
