This is not our house. But the one next door is! I hope Ellie moves into this house when she moves back from Hawaii. Then we will be neighbors and I will peak over my fence and talk to her. And I will cut a doggy door in the fence and Mimi and Griffin can play anytime they want. And I will loan her sugar, and she will help me organize and we will be sister wives.
C'mon, Ellie. The price is right.
In other business: For the next 8 weeks or so I will be working two gigs, one teaching a class at a high school, the other for Mom's Mulan. I will not be posting about either because you KNOW what happened last time. (Of which, I have still not heard the end, but at least I still have my job). Come March, Mulan ends and the class I'm teaching at the College that Shall Remain Nameless begins, while the high school job continues. Then in June, I retire from working outside the home. If I miss a few days blogging, those are my reasons. Also, I am still reading your blogs, though I have not been commenting. I read them on my phone, so commenting is difficult. That, and I'm so busy exercising and cooking three meals a day. Ha!
Oh, and in case you didn't know, my spousal unit is (among other things) a Family Law Attorney. Since you are all members of families, you might need or know someone who needs law work of that nature (wills, trusts, estate planning, custody, separation, divorce, etc.) I'm letting you know not because I think you are on the verge of a divorce, but because I know that not many people know Fam Law Attorneys, esp. LDS ones. Ask me and I'll put you in contact with him. As Shakespeare says, "Good counselors lack no clients."

I'm bringing my tape measure over! See you soon.

Congratulations on the new house! I'm excited for you and extremely jealous!
P.S. The baby DOES have some Baby Blooms. The ones I ordered were for her and she looks so darn cute in them!!!! My sister is so funny and always tells people, "they are held on with NON-TOXIC glue dots!!!!" (I love first time mommies!
Oh...that would be so nice if Ellie could move in next door.
I have to tell you that I was reading Celia Fae's blog and there was a picture of her son, Max dressed in a shepherd's costume, (I think) Anyway...as I confessed on Celia's blog...I clicked on that picture to get a better look at the bridal portrait in the background...You look so beautiful in your wedding dress. Seriously
Ellie, Ellie. Ellie. It's too bad that I can't afford to buy that house now that we're sisters and all.
Hooray, Nor! I'm so excited for you! The house is gorgeous. I can't wait to come visit!
Also, my family needs Dx. My sister is getting divorced and she might need a F.L.A. Can he do work in Colorado? Then there's my dear Grams, aka "Great One" (she's 98). I don't think her will is in order and we're thinking she might not be with us much longer. Then there's Pat's family. Ay-yi-yi. We're a veritable cornicopia of legal messes that need untangling.
Finally, if Ellie can't move in next door...I WILL. I caught Pat looking at houses online in Cali today. WAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!And we're putting ours on the market. My days in the desert may be coming to a close. HOLIDAY!!! CELEBRATE!
Glad you're back.
I understand the "too busy to post" thing. Sometimes posting stresses me OUT! I hope Ellie moves next door. How fun would that be!?!! And since Lisa-Marie mentioned baby blooms, I have to say that Faith still looks smashing in hers. People are always looking really hard to see how it's held on.
Good luck on the job front!
Are you coming to Blogapalooza with your sisters? I HOPE SO!!!
Yeah, are you coming to Blogapalooza? I know you looove Provo.
Can't wait to see the new digs tomorrow. I notice you didn't invite me to move in next door. It's okay, I probably couldn't afford it anyway.
I'm glad you haven't quit. I was worried.
Hooray and Congratulations.
PS We might just be contacting you/Dx about some Family Law services. Our wills are long overdue (since they STILL don't exist) and though my husband too is a lawyer, he opted for a non-practicing career and thus has no useful skills in that regard.
Ok, don't make fun.
I thought spousal unit was like some hollywoody type film guy. And I thought it odd that you lived where you do and not where the Hollywood is.
Does he moonlight?
does he practice interstate law? because we shell out over half our earnings per month in legal fees to continually battle people we never wanted anything to do with again. where's the logic in that?
so if half my income is going to go to some lawyer, it may as well be to support one who will make enough that his wife can stay at home and write entertaining blogs for me. daily.
What, who doesn't love Provo?
Congrats on the new digs. I still feel like I am moving into my house six months later. What I do enjoy now is that the dirt and dust around the house is now OUR dirt and dust.
I work, he works, we work, blah blah blah. Life is about shopping and blogging. and eating. You got that part down.
I'm thinking I should do a post-nup just in case.
Does he do wills and living trusts? If he doesn't, he should. I'll give him the TurboWill software.
You forgot to say he only wants clients WHO PAY.
Congrats on the house! I hope you love love love it. Having a back yard is sweet.
I quit my job. I am taking some time off...a few years, a few months, not sure yet. But I am happy about it (a little sad too) and relieved, which is a surprise.
We need to do a will/trust/whatever. I will talk to my spousal unit and maybe we'll get in touch with your spousal unit. That sounds gross.
Do you really move once a year?? That would kill me.
Yay you are back! I thought you were serious about Ellie moving in next door! I was going to be jealous. Can't wait to see pictures of the new pad!
Nor, are you sure you don't wanna go to Blogapalooza? Come on! It'll be fun!
Hey I feel for ya on the moving! I am moving do Dublin next weekend. I'm already stressin!
Dear Blog People, Please donate 1 million dollars to me and then I can move and start my life. Actually, make it 1.6. We can all rally can't we?
Hey there. I think your new digs are in my brother's ward. He's not nearly as fabulous as me, but good guy to have on your team.
I'm jealous that you get to work for Pam. Those are some good memories (I think I worked back when you were IN the plays).
Also, I'm a little offended that I was not included in Jim's Saturday Daddurday, since I once went on a LONG (15 miles or so) bike ride with him on a Saturday--maybe when I was in college? He showed up in all his official bike riding gear and we ended up at Daisys eating frozen yogurt. does that seem strange?
