I Married Myself Part 1

At Young Women's on Tuesday my girls were all making fun of my faux Gingerbread house. They said it looked like an earthquake had struck or some other natural disaster. They were wrong.
My gingerbread (or grahamgerbread) house is an intentional copy of a architectural work of art.

Can you guess which building this is supposed to be? Note the gummy bear line.

This may confirm everyone's suspicions that I am not very cultured...I was gonna guess the opera house in Sydney, Austrailia but the gummy bear guards kinda' threw me...

We really like Tokyo Lobby in WC. Not TOO expensive, but it sure does us right. The Rigo Roll....mmmm, divine. Plus, I've been craving some good sushi since I got knocked up, and the choices that Utah has to offer just isn't doing it.

The Guggenheim museum in Spain. I haven't even been there, but I am so cultured that I know anyway. See mom, I am using my fancy private school education.

Yeah, I got nothing. I'm just plain uncultured and stupid. Educate me, please?

It's the Leaning Tower of Pisa! The bears are standing on the "safe" side... total giveaway.

Si! The museum in Bilbao, which also looks like the Disney Concert Hall in LA and pretty much anything else that Gehry gets built.

It also looks like the signature cakes at Citizen Cake.

Very creative.

All very good answers but, I'm sure it's Sherk's swap house. ??? I think I need lots of culture. Because none of those answers even came to mind.

Hmmm i was going to say the terracotta warriors, but they don't have that artsy fartsy kind of house that you built!

I would venture a guess that your gingerbread house is a model of the RLDS temple in Missouri....You have us on pins and needles.

I'm not cultured enough to guess. I live a sheltered Utah life.

Hmmm, the only people who got it went to Fancy Private school. Good job Linds and Ellie. I see it Nor, but what to the gummy bears have to do with it? The original Guggenheim is in NYC, Ellie.

Dude, that's totally the Luxor. COME ON, PEOPLE! OK, just kidding. I don't know. Is it Disney Hall? Frank Loyd Wright's Waterfall house? The Burj Al Arab in Dubai? (Google it, if you don't know what I'm talking about, then thank me later for giving you a better vacation idea then the one you currently entertain.)
