Dx and I took Mims to the Oakland Zoo last weekend. Every single animal was out and crawling toward us. It was fun and Mimi was really into it. We brought her animal book to try to relate the real life to the cartoon animals. Yes, she's ten months, but I like to believe she understood what was going on. It was a fun family outing.
Mimi the beaver, a goat, and an elephant. I have a huge nose.
There was a turtle in there. My asian husband will always look younger and hotter than me.
Photo op. The tortoise crawled right up to us.
I heard that some one from Mexico snuck an elephant over the boarder into America.

I can totally commiserate with not knowing what a goat says. When my oldest was learning animal sounds I had to think fast when he asked me, pointing to a picture of a goat, "What dis say?" I came up with the universal rule, totally not based on anything factual, that a goat says "Maaaaaaaa" and a lamb says "Baaaaaaa". Later, I had to explain why some goats are called "nanny goats" and some are called "billy goats". Again, I had nothing factual to share so, I just muttered quickly, "..uh...Nanny Goats are girl goats and Billy Goats are boy goats." These are questions that I never learned the answers to in any form of formal schooling.
I love seeing bloggers from the Bay Area. Brings back great memories. I grew up in Walnut Creek.
Could that baby be any cuter? I don't think so. Must be her hot parents.

And, I'm always curious. Just how cold is it where you Green-Baum girls live? You guys always have coats and hats on. I think I must be misinformed about your Cali. weather. I live in Idaho and RARELY wear a coat. (Yet, always wish I had.)

Elephants are supposed to have big noses. It's called a trunk. But you look good and are a little obsessed. Your baby is delicious.
