Tonight my husband opened his mouth and the words, "That's Optimus Prime. Aren't you going to watch him transform?" fell out of his mouth. And then he hung his head in dork shame and begged me not to blog about it.

Nope, don't think I could top that one. My husband is tooo cool. I could post a really funny picture of him with a mask on and my 11 yr old sons tshirt.... but we might have to go to counseling if I posted it :)
My husband is a stud, of course. I am the dork. But during my first pregnancy, once we found out it was a boy, he and his entire family called the baby "optimus prime". I didn't even know what they were talking about.
So, did you watch Optimus Prime transform?

Well mine can match it because we were watching Transformers last night and he told Jaden my son..."watch this one is daddy's favorite...Optimus Prime." And he new that the car that the kid ends up with was Bummble Bee.
Oh....Alex MIGHT have taken the cake. Not only is that supremely dorky, but it's slightly femmie, too! Fantastic!
My husband makes stupid law jokes, that I don't understand and then laughs uncontrollably for several minutes. Then I'll call him a law geek, and then we make out. true story.
(okay, really Alex wins) but my husband tries to explain what he does to regular people (he's an electrical engineer), while I shake my head at him and mouth "No one gets what you are saying but you!"
I could have a whole blog dedicated to this topic. We aren't allowed to husband bash though. You broke the rule.

So many options for Carl it is overwhelming. My favorite is when he says things to Mark like "put the hose next to the ratchet and then find the oil dipper." Dorky AND Boring.
Oh, my husband went to the Bruce Springsteen concert tonight. Is that dorky enough? Who's The Boss?
Alex, we are all hoping that he was kidding. If not he will forever be known at the Celine Dion guy. Awesome.
bruce springsteen concert is pretty dorky. but celine dion is worse.
Mine has had the EXACT same words come out of his mouth, while wearing his R2D2/C3PO Watch and t-shirt stating "Vadar was framed". Wow...I may need therapy.
